Well, we have made it to Bangalore!  It’s about 3am on Monday morning here, and it has been quite a long journey.  Our connecting flight from Delhi to Bangalore had been cancelled, but after some fanangling on our part, Ben and I were able to get on another flight.  We arrived in Bangalore around midnight (we are 10.5, yes 10.5, hours ahead of our friends in the US, so this would be about 1:30pm on Sunday for you guys).  After the long travels, I am very excited to get out tomorrow and see the city in daylight!  Tomorrow morning, Ben and I are meeting with Krithi, whom I met through the Gigapan team at Carnegie Mellon University.  Krithi is a research associate at the Center for Wildlife Studies here in Bangalore.  We were introduced this summer when she visited Phipps, and I am looking forward to seeing a familiar face and discussing the wildlife of Kerrala and Karnataka over coffee.

More tomorrow, good night!
